Boston notaries?

Boston-folks: isn't one of you a notary public?  I seem to remember that someone on my friendslist is and now I can't recall who.

I believe [livejournal.com profile] jbsegal is, or used to be.

Do you travel? We'd buy you dinner!

Where are y'all again?
I don't have a lot scheduled tomorrow...

Alas, third Sundays are Mosaic general meetings (which eat the afternoon and dinner hour), so we can't manage it today. Do you have any weeknights free this week?

I'm going to ping the person whose signature we need and find out when he's available....

I was, but I expired in November. :(

I expired in November.

... thereby settling the question of whether there's lj in the afterlife?

there's probably one in your office?

Yeah, problem is we have to get him, me, and his father's next-door neighbor all in front of a notary at the same time. :(

What sort of document requires *simultaneous* notarized signatures? Offhand, I can't think of any that can't be signed in parts (which is usually done in parallel, not in serial).

Notarized Affidavit of Correction on a car title. Looking back at it, only one signature is required, but Tim and I are trying to make it as easy as possible on the signer (who, while virtually a stranger to us, is giving us a car), so we'd like to take him all the forms and the notary if we can manage it.

(This is only one of four hoops we have to jump through before we can register the car, btw. Stupid @$&% RMV.)

Ah - the courtesy issue is another thing entirely. I can see why you'd want to bring things to him.

Pick a bank near his father's next door neighbor and carpool? :)

Only for you 34
