When I grow up I want to be this guy:
Finally I catch sight of him again, as he's diving through two stopped lanes with both hands behind his back, trying to adjust the iguana.
Technically maybe I mean "after" I grow up. I don't know.  I just know that I have a new role model.

Gah. I hate to see how scratched up that guy is from his iguana! Ever see the scars on my arms and chest?

Do you really want to wait that long?

I'm not sure I have much choice. Though I admit the kids would probably get a huge kick out of it.

My theory is that the guy was being attacked by the iguana, and desperately trying to get away.

My favorite theory was raised by one of the posters: "the old get-away-on-a-bmx-bike-after-stealing-an-iguana-trick." Which would not be inconsistent with the idea that the iguana was attacking him.

I am more thinking the iguana attached itself as a parasite / puppet-master and took over the guy's brain, trying to get himself to Vulcan for mating as quickly as possible. Alas, the iguana's limited control did not allow for steering the host towards a better choice of wheels than a BMX.
