socializing

Had a Wednesday evening off -- how often does that happen? :-) -- so I took myself to OPN. Sort of odd for me, since I rarely pass up the opportunity to catch a movie when I can, but I was feeling the need for some low-key people company. Got to see ceo and gosling's new place at last, marvel over ceo's wood shop and drool over mattlistener and mud_puppy's fabulously renovated kitchen. Nice to catch up with people. :-)

(BTW, re: your thoughts of possible getting together Wed or Thurs, I'd had other plans for Wednesday but had to cancel them in favor of "talktime" with J. If I'd had any strength left for socializing after that, I was going to try to salvage the evening with OPN. Didn't happen, but I *did* get enough sleep to get up early and exercise this morning...tonight I have errands that must be done.)
