It was! I saw her around lunchtime and got to take her out to see the llamas. She told me later that you got to visit and hang out with her, which really seemed to pick up her spirits.
And you're quite right, she really is looking pretty good:
She's already looking a hell of a lot better than when I saw her last (the day after her surgery). I think she should get some picturesque tattoo to go with the scar (maybe "No User Serviceable Parts Inside".)
Tell her to break a leg... no, wait, scratch that, how about best wishes for a speedy recovery instead. :-)
Oh, oh, oh. Having taken those same pictures of my car in January and having me walk away without a scratch...God/dess/s go with you all. Bless all of you. I am so moved.
Best Wishes
Blessed Be,
AE

* fuzzy
* cheap
* safe
* OMG too cool
Llama minuses:
* slow
* no radio
* can't haul discarded file cabinets home from the dump
... actually, come to think of it, I have to say that those are all pluses as well. It's not looking good for Detroit.

I'm glad to see that rumors of the existence of a llama were not false.
