Awesome news story of the day: a guy goes door-to-door offering tattoos with a tattoo gun made with electrical tape and fishing wire.  And people actually took him up on it.  Money quote:

"Beware of deals in parachutes, brain surgery and tattoos," said Miller Cotton, a tattoo parlor owner. (KMBC News, Kansas City)
