Scheme is happy purring along. PLT Scheme (http://www.plt-scheme.org/) is a very nice implementation, good for learning, scripting, and general use.

Meanwhile, schemers.org (http://www.schemers.org/) says there are workshops in 2008, and I'd heard vaguely about R6RS.
