biking decisions
Jun. 5th, 2003 05:22 pmSo these two things noted since my last post:
I know people who know people and think I could probably overcome the registration barrier, but it does feel like the universe is telling me, "Yes, do more riding. But not this one." I'll find an appropriately studly ride for later this summer and register for that.
How about a Greater Elboid ride team for the AIDS Action Ride in August?
In the meantime, I want to keep up training to be in more solid shape later this month. I did 27 miles on Monday and 38 miles on Tuesday, and didn't feel completely wretched on Wednesday, which is encouraging. Keeping up a schedule of regular riding isn't easy with all this rain -- definitely time to put fenders on the bike.
catya pointed out that the OutRiders event is the same weekend as Baitcon, for which I've already RSVPed. So that's a big strike against the ride.
awfief observed that registration for OutRiders was closed last Saturday.
