I know that 1890 is too newfangled for some of you, but thought you might be able to lend a hand anyway :-)
I have a document written in the 1890s in German. Which means the typeface used is Fraktur, not normal Roman script. I'm making inroads on translating it, but it struck me that there might be someone on my flist (or someone who knows someone) who is completely comfortable in Fraktur and can translate this on the fly. The document is about 10,000 words, and we basically need the high points, not a direct translation. Any pointers?See http://rednikki.livejournal.com/982380.html.
