On your way to work? That's your preferred route? (I'm still experimenting, I've only ridden in 3 times so far.)

It's on my way to work when I come in from Waltham, as I did this morning because the weather was so lovely. When I ride in from Arlington, lately I've been taking Somerville Ave from Porter Square all the way to Union Square -- it's longer than Beacon St, distance-wise, but the lights are timed better, the drivers are less aggressive and the road surface is MUCH MUCH MUCH better.

(Also, your camera's clock is a year off...)

Oh that's right, they redid Somerville Ave. I tried that as a route home from Permabit a few times when I was working there, and it was a bomb-cratered wasteland.
