Date: 2005-03-31 03:41 am (UTC)"Do others see you as being cold and distant?" Yeah, people often have difficulty reading my facial expressions through my beard.
"Do you tend to choose jobs that are below your skill level?" Wow, there are people who get to *choose* their job, instead of just taking whatever work is offered to them so they don't starve? Amazing!
"Is your appearance or behavior considered "eccentric" by other people?" Sure, the colors that work best with my skin tone happen to be really bright and so people consider my clothes eccentric... but I didn't pick the colors, I got them out of a book, so it says very little about my personality.
"When you are talking to someone, do they sometimes have difficulty following your train of thought?" Yes, because I'm often much smarter than the person I'm talking to, and they're often foolish enough to ask me a question to which there is no simple answer. It's the nature of my profession.
"Do other people accuse you of being manipulative?" No, but I am, at work... it's also the nature of my profession.

Q: Do other people accuse you of being manipulative?
A: No, because they haven't caught me at it.
"When you are talking to someone, do they sometimes have difficulty following your train of thought?" Yes, because I'm often much smarter than the person I'm talking to, and they're often foolish enough to ask me a question to which there is no simple answer.
Roger that.

However, the test thinks I'm sane, so I'll run with it.

Date: 2005-04-03 07:52 am (UTC)On one hand, it's not like I took a book of pantone colors and just selected some. The book is about how to determine what color pallete will look best with your personal coloration (hair, skin). I figure out how the author has catagorized me, and the book tells me what colors to wear. It doesn't matter if I even like them, those are the colors the book claims will look best on me. So, in that regard, the fact that I wear bright colors has nothing to do with whether or not I'm actually eccentric, it merely reflects the fact that some author thinks those are the colors that look best with my skin and hair.
On the other hand, the fact that I'd actually read and pay attention to such a book probably does say something about my personality... but probably not what the question was trying to determine.
