Yes you can, if you can tell which wild fern is an ostrich fern. Edible if you like slightly mucilaginous vegetables. If you beleive that all wild plants taste like asparagus (they don't). Hungry people will eat all sorts of things if they *have* to! Or in the words of Euell Gibbons, 'they taste quite acceptable if you sautee them in butter.' I think they are nice to look at. Beautiful picture!
