OK, I have to admit, this one is a lot of fun too. Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] moominmolly (who got it from [livejournal.com profile] epilady).

Post a picture of yourself in a comment.

  • Even if I know you. Many of you I haven't seen in years. The rest of you, show me something new and novel!
  • Preferably something largish with lots of detail. No LJ icons or passport photos!

Someday, I will find a picture hosting site and show the world what I've turned into. Until then: I'm basically the same as last you saw me (at my wedding), except I grew my beard back. An it's starting to show gray hairs.

I'm the one with the microphone. Does this pic have enough detail?

Most of the pictures in this center were of George W. Bush - I am not sure how we lucked out so that the pic behind the podium was a shot of the White House.

In your dreams. The occassion was
the One-Day Conference: Semantic Technologies for E-Government
(http://www.topquadrant.com/conferences/tq_proceedings.htm) at the White House Conference Center.

You need to put one in my journal, too!

I wish I had one of the ones of me and Quinn scanned, it'd be perfect.

I hear you -- I don't have many pictures of myself these days so I'm already running out!

I like Desert Nomad Molly. Very striking!

I'm the one on the left in blue. I rode from Seattle to Alaska in September, 2001. I'm still very pleased that I got to do this!

How yummy! That can't be a corset -- just a lace-up camisole kind of thing?

You should consider using that picture for your Dr. Jo department picture. Motivational speaking, YES!

Yeah, it hurt. I was miserable! Sooo glad that particular part of my life is over. (Though it does represent the last week of my pre-child life, *sigh*.)

Oh, Jesus Christ, Honey!

I don't think I was ever even *half* that big with my twins, and even then I had some mobility issues. maybe you don't get so big when you have 4-lb.'ers though...

HOLY JESUS were you ever pregnant!

Are those the kind that actually articulate, so you can walk with a normal stride?

They do articulate to some degree. I wasn't really playing on them enough to give you specs though.

(They belong to the other person in the photo, Jeff.)

Sorry about the lack of 21st century technotoys like digital cameras (we don't have a DVD player yet!)--it's a combination of lack of leftover money, sheer Ludditism and "busman's holiday" on my part. For Tim: I look pretty much the same as before...anyone else reading the comments will just have to imagine us: [livejournal.com profile] stephe medium-short, pleasantly pudgy (if I do say so myself) red-headed, bearded and as my family described him 'melanin-challenged' while I'm about average height, same general body type but with very dark, very very very short hair (no beard). A photo of the pair of us might be [livejournal.com profile] stephe with his nose in a book and me with a pitchfork in one hand and my nose in a book held in the OTHER hand

as a special treat, you get Elizabeth Zwicky as well. Plus
my cute friend Doug.
