Diana takes Beth's motorcycle for a spin at John's birthday party. I knew it was going to be a wild party, but I didn't think there were going to be MOTORCYCLES running RIGHT THROUGH IT!

Was Diana in motion when you took this picture? If so, how did you
create the effect of her being in focus while the background goes by
in a blur? If not, I have the exact same question.

She had just started up the motorcycle and went past me on her way out the driveway. I took the picture while turning to keep her in the frame, so she stayed relatively in focus while the background got blurry. :-)

If she had been going more than 5-10 miles per hour at this moment it would have been a lot harder, but I like that you can't really tell how fast she was going when the picture was taken. :-)
