Well, I went to a party at the Dimple-Bottoms’, and pheromone saw me just as I came in the door. She got this ashen, horrified look on her face, and spent the next five minutes I think, maybe more, telling me how much she had loved my long hair and how much she was going to miss it and how sad it was and how she loved playing with long hair and on and on. All this time, however, she was rubbing my head. Non-stop. Talk about mixed signals!
