A drink embodying a theme of dubious authenticity, adornments that some might venture to call tacky-- and yet nonetheless so compelling a combination in its sheer audacity (whatever it may lack in subtlety) that one can neither resist ordering it nor, truthfully, claim not to enjoy it? I think Don the Beachcomber might recognize a certain kinship of spirit here.
(And after all, whom else could Uncle Walt have been honoring with the Enchanted Tiki Room? :-) )
