cool things about being a dad

My office is the designated disaster area around here -- "Floor? What floor?" -- that sort of thing. A few days ago I installed some temporary shelving and got all the junk up off the floor so that I could start to organize it. But for months the whole family has agreed that it desperately needs to be cleaned up.

So, from a conversation last night:

Morgan: "Dad! You really have to clean up your office!"

Ellen: "Morgan, have you seen daddy's office lately? Go look."

(Morgan runs upstairs and into my office. A few seconds later he runs back out.)

Morgan: "Dad! You did such a great job! I am so proud of you!"
