They were right: much more fun than the original. (I never did like Shrek very much.)

And that damn cat did indeed steal the whole fucking movie.

Hell yeah, the cat stole the movie. Especially that "big sad eye" thing. Dogs think they're the only ones with sad looks...

I had a great time last night; that movie was even better when I knew what to expect.
