In the last twelve hours, I have broken my phone and my backpack.
Note for future reference: just because some random flake on a mailing list says they improved their phone's roaming capability by dialing *228, don't assume that you can do the same with yours. Fortunately, there's a Verizon store in the Galleria.
As for my backpack, I can only say this: for a content delivery service, my employer sure makes lousy personal accessories.

Date: 2009-01-30 04:50 pm (UTC)Here in my cubicle in the middle of Cambridge I'm getting "Searching for Service" where I have never ever ever had a problem getting reception before. So, I dunno.
I'm glad to hear your reply though. I was wondering if maybe I'd just been stupid and selected the wrong option from the *228 menu.

Date: 2009-01-30 05:03 pm (UTC)Anyway, really, there's a Verizon service center about a ten-minute walk from my office, so I'll just go over there and have them work their magic. And if they can't for whatever reason.... well, there's also an Apple Store downstairs from them. *nod*
