Somewhere, deep in the back of my head, I think of the unix time as being about 520 million. (which tells you that most of my experience with it was in the summer of 1986.)

HR threw us a party at 14:30. At one point, about half the company was there, and maybe one or two Ops guys. It's not that we're antisocial; i think our attention span expired.

I had a party. We all gathered 'round my epoch clock (which was a gift a couple weeks ago, for this party) and counted, er, up. And cheered. Good times.

The party room now has a board game, a cat, two iphones, and two laptops.
