topazThis afternoon at lunch we made a field trip to The Army Barracks, an Army/Navy surplus store in the Back Bay, in preparation for Saturday's paintball tournament. They had lots of excellent stuff, including polypropylene sweaters and neoprene gloves.
And purple camo.
What in god's name is purple camo good for? Combat in a field of lilacs? Hiding in a lollipop factory? My cow-orker Chris suggested that it was for sneaking through a crowd of Barneys. Seriously, is this a real military item or some kind of trendy teenybopper knockoff product?
