Election Night Gathering?
Oct. 30th, 2004 03:57 pmOn Tuesday night, Election Night, I'd love to attend some kind of a social event to watch the returns come in. However, it looks possible that I'll be solo Adult-On-Duty for the kidlets, which makes going out to a party trickier.
So I'm taking a poll. Who would come over to our place if I held an election night party here, say from 7pm until Dan Rather finally collapses in a miasma of equivocation?
[Poll #375585]
Depending on the enthusiasm, we'll make a decision in the next day or so.

Either there will be a definite decision, or therewon't..and if there isn't, it'll drag on for weeks, and man, would that be a long party. :)
Ahh, not like we haven't done that before. Hell, the Oscars ceremony drags on for weeks every year, and we still throw a party for that.

My real answer would have been "I'd be happy to go hang with you guys anytime I can get to Boston, but I'd rather carve out my eyeballs with a spoon than spend hours of watching this election."
