technology fails me

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is playing at the Natick IMAX theater, and their online ticket store has been b0rked for about the last 24 hours.

That is all.

They are playing it at an IMAX here too, but my friend says they cut parts of the movie out! She says the "documentary" spools they have there are not large enough to hold a feature-length film (or maybe not a 2.5 hour film), so they cut it to fit. And it costs more, too!

Hm, thanks for reminding me to check on that. I googled a little bit on this and what I'm getting is that the film is 157 minutes but the spools are only big enough to hold 150. I'm normally a bit of a purist about this but I'm willing to go with 7 minutes cut off this for the IMAX presentation. :-)
