I've just become so accustomed to seeing phonecam photos blogged from Flickr, that when I see one like this I have to wonder what the heck kind of phone is taking a picture like that!
Heh, no -- the color and the focus is just off a bit because it was about 7:30 in the evening and the light was fading, and my 8-year-old digicam doesn't do quite so well in low light. :-)
Aw, I didn't mean it as a slam. It's an adorable photo. :) It is, as you say, a little bit off, but not as MUCH off as I'd have expected, and so it was eye-catching.
Ahh, I didn't take it that way at all. I can understand why you'd wonder if it was a phonecam shot -- I have seen some scarily high-quality phonecam pictures. :-)
'course, just wait another year or so and the phones will have caught up to the technology in this camera :-)
(I actually *do* want a site that compares the cameras in different phones, like a dbreview.com (http://dpreview.com/) kind of thing, since it is the feature that's actually most important to me after reception. Everything I've seen of that sort has ben half-assed, though.)
I'm not sure their helmets fit! The little one's looks too big, and the big one's looks too little. Maybe they should trade...or perhaps they already have.
Toddler helmets always look too big, even when they barely fit any longer. :-)
Morgan's helmet still fits pretty well, though it does look a little small from the front. I'll try to get a good profile shot. I think it'll last at least through the end of this season.
Hey, thanks! I kind of fell out of the habit of taking regular pictures in the last few months, so I've been trying to get back in the saddle. It's been a lot of fun.
You flatter my eye. The truth is that having a digital camera means never having to say, "oops."
